不容置疑,21世纪是人类室内设计活动发展最为辉煌的年代。整体说来,它的成就远远地超越了早先的任何时期,甚至是它们的总和。在即将步入新世纪的时刻,作为一个有责任心的室内设计人员,都会在激动和自豪的同时也感到压力和忧虑:我们该继承什么,批判什么?21世纪的室内设计路在何方?它应该建立怎样的观念,依托怎样的高技术?它会产生怎样的特征、风格、外表?这些都是值得关注和思考的问题,只有对这些问题做到心中有数,我们才能顺应时代的潮流,为室内设计健康地发展贡献自己的一份力量。
Undoubtedly, the 21st century is the most glorious era of human interior design activities. On the whole, its achievements go far beyond any earlier period or even their total. At a time when we are about to enter the new century, as a responsible interior designer, we will feel excited and proud to feel pressure and worry: What should we inherit and criticize? Where is the 21st century interior design path? What kind of ideas should be established and what kind of high technology should it rely on? What features, styles and appearances it will produce? These are questions worthy of attention and consideration. Only by being aware of these issues can we conform to the trend of the times. Interior design contributes to the healthy development of its own contribution.
