“普通地质学”是高等院校地质类专业的一门学科基础课,以地球科学基本理论框架为知识内容、构建科学的地质学思维方法和人与自然和谐共进为核心的地球科学观为教学目标。在高校推动并普及地质学通识教育,对非地质学专业背景学生形成科学的世界观具有重要意义。本文具体分析了当前在非地质学专业开设“普通地质学”课程存在的问题,并从课程定位、教学内容、教学方法和考查方式等方面对课程的进一步推广进行了探讨。
Ordinary geology is a discipline basic course of geology specialty in institutions of higher learning. Taking the basic theoretical framework of geoscience as the content of knowledge, constructing scientific thinking method of geology and the earth science view with the core of harmonious coexistence between man and nature For teaching purposes. Promoting and popularizing general education of geology in colleges and universities is of great significance to the formation of a scientific world outlook for non-geo-professional background students. This paper analyzes in detail the existing problems of offering “General Geology ” course in non-geology, and probes into the further promotion of the curriculum from the aspects of course orientation, teaching contents, teaching methods and examination methods.
