11月4日,国家环保总局在北京召开了西气东输工程环境保护验收会。验收组在对西气东输工程进行检查后认为,西气东输工程环保设施与建设项目主体工程基本已投入使用,施工期和试营运期各项环境保护措施落实情况良好, 生态保护达到了国家和地方环境保护的要求,其经验对建设资源节约型和环境友好型社会具有重要借鉴意义,符合环保验收要求,一致同意通过环保验收。
