一九四一年和一九四二年正处在抗日战争相持阶段的中期,北平地下党在极端艰苦的环境中坚持英勇的斗争。一九四二年春,中共晋察冀北方分局城市工作委员会为了贯彻中央城市工作会议的精神,加强对敌占城市地下斗争的领导,及时把北平的一些地下党员和革命知识分子输送到晋察冀边区参加根据地建设,或接受党的城市工作训练,再派回北平,开展地下工作,准备迎接抗日战争胜利的新局面,特开辟了从河北省满城县游击区,经保定通往北平、天津的秘密交通线。当时,我担任了党的秘密交通员,常常来往于北平与保定城西蛮子营村两地之间,把一些革命同志输送到抗日根据地去。
In 1941 and 1942, during the midst of the stalemate in the anti-Japanese war, the Peiping underground party insisted on heroic struggles in extremely difficult circumstances. It opened up the guerrilla zone in Mancheng County, Hebei Province, Secret traffic line. At that time, I served as the party’s secret traffic officer, often traveling between Peking and the West Barbados in Baoding, between the two places and sent some revolutionary comrades to the anti-Japanese base areas.
