对称是一个重要的数学概念,它分为几何对称和代数对称两大类对称,照字面来讲,就是两个东西相对又相称,因此把这两个东西对换一下,好像没有动过一样,自然界中,雪花和蜂巢就是平面中的对称的例子;人的身体也是左右对称的:我国敦煌壁画的边饰、项光和藻井,都有极丰富而壮美的对称,教材中多次出现对称的问题,可见对称问题是数学教学中的一个重要课题.笔者就近年来在初中代数教学中的体会浅谈如下:
Symmetry is an important mathematical concept. It is divided into two types of symmetries, geometrical symmetry and algebraic symmetry. In literal terms, two things are relative and commensurate, so the two things are reversed, as if they have not been moved. In the natural world, snowflakes and honeycombs are examples of symmetry in the plane; the human body is also bilaterally symmetric: the fringes of the Dunhuang murals in China, Xiangguang and Caijing, all have extremely rich and magnificent symmetry. The problem is that the symmetry problem is an important topic in mathematics teaching. The author’s experience in junior high school algebra teaching in recent years is discussed as follows:
