在朝野上下对历史“变局”及洋务事业普遍缺乏认识时,崇厚较早地赞成办洋务,选择向西方学习,购买军械武装旗兵,聘用洋教官训练军队,将“师夷长技”的主张付诸实践。本文通过考究崇厚在洋务运动中的所作所为,从历史条件等方面加以分析,论述他对历史和社会所起的作用。 When the ruling and opposition parties generally lacked an understanding of history, “change of affairs” and the general business of Westernization, Chonghou favored the administration of the Western Regions earlier and chose to learn from the West and buy armed soldierial armies and foreign military instructors to train the army to “ Technology ”idea put into practice.
