改革开放以来,尤其是从1986年第一届北京国际图书博览会起,我国出版业务与世界同行的交流与合作日益发展,方兴未艾。各地出版社都希望在了解国际图书市场的基础上,积极开拓外向型出版物,努力将出版物打入国际市场,使中国的图书在世界图书市场上占有一席之地,并以此更好地推动出版社自身的发展,跻身国内先进出版社的行列。上海、北京、广东、四川、浙江、江苏等省、市的出版社在合作出版及版权贸易等方面捷足先登,取得了一定的社会效益和经济效益,其他一些出版社正在努力探索,寻求新的途径。如何开拓海外图书市场,使中国的出版物推向全世界呢?笔者就少儿读物怎样走向世界,谈谈粗浅的看法。
