《中学数学》1984年第三期刊登了题为“解方程、(2+(2+(2+x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=2所想到的”*一文,介绍了方程(a±(a±…±(a±x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=x与方程x=(x±a)~(1/2)等价性的证明及其应用。读完此文后,颇受启发,但笔者总认为有点不同的看法,下面提出与同志们讨论,并兼与该文作者商榷。作者在“探求方程(2+(2+(2+x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=2的特殊解法时,联想到方程

After reading this article, I was inspired. However, I always think that there is a somewhat different view. I would like to discuss with the comrades and discuss with the writer. The author associates his equation with the special solution to the equation (2+(2+(2+x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=2.
