随着新年钟声敲响,1996年和“九五”计划同时开始了。二十一世纪正日益临近地向我们走来。 “八五”计划的五年,粉碎“四人帮”后的近二十年,弹指一挥间地过去了。在建设有中国特色社会主义的伟大事业大踏步前进的新时期里,我国新闻事业也呈现欣欣向荣的喜人局面。 在新的五年里,我们新闻工作者要进一步认真贯彻执行党的基本理论、基本路线和基本方针,深化新闻改革,为我国社会主义现代化建设创造更好的舆论环境,为将一个经济持续发展、社会全面进步、充满生机和希望的中国带入二十一世纪作出贡献。 “八五”期间,我国国民经济持续快速发展,经济实力显著加强。今后五年,以至十五年内,我国要充分发挥各方面的积极性,继续集中力量进行经济建设。这是实现国家富强、民族振兴和社会长治久安的根本大计。 以经济建设为中心,是坚持党的基本路线的核心内容,也是坚持新闻为人民服务、为社会主义服务的核心内容。不仅各级党的机关报、经济类、综合类的新闻媒体要坚持以经济建设为中心,法制教育、文化艺术、体育休闲、生活服务类的媒体,也要围绕经济建设这个中心,去多侧面、多角度地进行新闻宣传。要提高新闻宣传为经济建设这个中心服务的质量和水平,要把经济建设的宏观宣传与人民群众微观的日常经济生活紧密?
