四川石棉矿区地层研究取得以下新进展：１）田湾矿区赋矿层时代原定为中泥盆世，该地层中发现晚震旦世疑源类化石，因而赋矿层时代为晚震旦世；２）矿区缺失早震旦世沉积，仅发育晚震旦世的观音崖组和灯影组；３）田湾方家山赋矿层原定为中晚泥盆世河心组，据发现的疑源类化石，应属晚震旦世灯影组；４）田湾杜河坝东侧原认为上三叠统河湖相的白果湾组，据有机质判定为海相沉积，时代暂属中元古代，称茨竹坪组。
The following new progress has been made in the stratigraphic study of the Shimian mining area in Sichuan Province: 1) The age of the ore-dressing layer in the Tianwan mining area was originally defined as the Middle Devonian, and late-Sinian doubtful source fossils were found in this strata. ) Lack of Early Sinian deposition in the mining area, only the Late Sinian Guanyinya Formation and Dengying Formation; 3) the Tianwan Fangjiashan ore deposit was originally designated as middle-late Devonian Hexin Formation. According to the discovery of the suspected source fossils , Which belongs to Late Sinian Dengying Formation; 4) the BaiGuWan Formation originally thought to be Upper Triassic rivers and lakes in Tianwan Du River Dam, which is determined to be marine sediment by organic matter.
