高职院校在课程设置上都努力使教学贴近职业的需要和就业的要求,以能力为本位开发专业课程。英语教学虽然也受到了高职院校的高度重视,但是反映学生实际应用能力的英语口语课却一直没有开设,而是由英语教师代为行事。在实际教学中,发现困难重重。学生的口语能力仍然是一个令人担忧的问题。学生英语口语能力低下,张口难,出口错,口语操练时间不够。通过一段时间的教学实践,摸索出一种对于公共英语学生比较实用的方法:通过角色扮演,将课本内容拍摄成话剧录影,来锻炼培养学生的英语口头表达能力。学生将课文内容进行角色扮演或者拍摄成话剧,展示给同学、老师看。
The higher vocational colleges make every effort to make the teaching close to the need of occupation and the requirement of employment in the course setting, and develop the specialized course based on abilities. Although English teaching has also been highly valued by higher vocational colleges, English speaking classes that reflect students’ practical ability have never been established. Instead, English teachers act on their behalf. In the actual teaching, I found it very difficult. Students’ speaking ability remains a worrying issue. Students’ ability to speak oral English is low, they are not easy to speak, their exports are wrong, and their oral practice time is not enough. Through a period of teaching practice, I found out a more practical method for public English students: through role play, the contents of the text shot into drama, to train students to develop their oral English skills. Students play the role of the text or role play drama, show to the students, the teacher to see.
