5月31日,宝钢广东湛江钢铁基地项目在湛江东海岛全面展开建设。中钢协名誉会长吴溪淳、吴建常,党委书记、副会长刘振江参加了开工仪式。广东湛江钢铁基地项目是落实国家关于钢铁产业发展方针,促进我国钢铁产业淘汰落后、结构调整的重要举措。湛江项目是宝钢二次创业的重要战场,项目建成投产后可满足广东及周边地区市场的需求,实现市场需求与宝钢能力特点相契合。该项目将建设成为世界效率最高的绿色碳钢薄板生产基地,成为生产清洁、资源节约、环境友好的生态工业园区。
May 31, Baosteel Zhanjiang, Guangdong Steel Base project in Zhanjiang East Island in full swing. The honorary president of China Steel Association Wu Xichun, Wu Jianchang, party secretary, vice president Liu Zhenjiang attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Guangdong Zhanjiang Steel Base Project is an important measure to implement the national guideline for the development of the iron and steel industry and promote the elimination of backwardness and structural adjustment of China’s steel industry. Zhanjiang Project is an important battlefield for Baosteel’s second start-up. After the project is completed and put into production, it can meet the needs of markets in Guangdong and its surrounding areas and meet the needs of market with the features of Baosteel’s capabilities. The project will be built into the world’s most efficient production base of green carbon steel sheet, becoming an eco-industrial park with clean production, resource saving and environment-friendly.
