最近在美国加里福尼亚州距岸8公里、水深58米的地方建立了一座海上钻井平台,将在该平台上钻60口井,其中18口井将钻成斜井。上层平台的面积为32×46米,装有两套导轨。一套导轨在平台的端部,其上装有一台普通钻机;另一套导轨在平台的一侧,其上装有斜井钻机。下层平台主要装采油设备。所有钻井设备包括泥浆系统都是交流一直流电驱动。该处油层深度约1050～1080米,此外还发现有极浅的含油砂,因此采用了斜井钻机。
An offshore drilling platform was recently established 8 kilometers off the coast of California, USA, at a depth of 58 meters and will drill 60 wells on the platform, of which 18 will be drilled into inclined wells. The upper platform area of 32 × 46 meters, equipped with two sets of rails. One set of guide rails is on the end of the platform, on which an ordinary drilling rig is mounted. The other set of guide rails is on one side of the platform with an inclined drilling rig. The lower platform mainly equipped with oil equipment. All drilling equipment including mud systems are AC-DC driven. The reservoir depth of about 1050 ~ 1080 meters, in addition to the discovery of very shallow oil sands, so the use of inclined drilling rig.
