麦田面积较大的生产队,实行麦粮套种,用工量较少,有利于上、下茬双增产。去年许屯公社东马屯大队194亩冬麦,大垄沟套玉米84.6亩,平均亩产718斤,两茬合计1,249斤。老虎屯公社大四川大队套种烟双545玉米,亩产600多斤,两茬超千斤。许屯公社小场大队,水肥条件较差,小麦下茬套种121亩玉米,两茬合计亩产627斤,比一茬作物增产55%。麦粮套种要抓好以下三个环节:
