1 Introduction The “Monte Olimpino 2” tunnel is located in the northern part of Italy and is part of the Italian-Swiss railway modernization project. The main purpose of building this hole is to shorten the original line, save transportation time. Completion of the tunnel will facilitate the development of the international freight industry on the Gotthard railway line. According to the European railway standards, the tunnel cross-section area of 105 m ~ 2, prime concrete lining. Design cross-section shown in Figure 1.
