在流动的熔融盐浴中添加碳化物和氮化物形成元素,使之与基材中的碳、氮反应,以此在金属、金属陶瓷、和陶瓷基材上形成碳化物和氮化物膜。根据膜的形成、生长机制,将该法称为热反应扩散法。该法所用设备简单,形成的涂层与CVD、PVD法具有相同的组成、组织、厚度及特性,被广泛用于金属模具、刀具等要求具有耐磨、耐蚀、耐热胶合等性能的机械零部件上。
Carbide and nitride films are formed on the metal, cermet, and ceramic substrates by adding carbide and nitride forming elements to the flowing molten salt bath to react with carbon and nitrogen in the substrate.
