解放后,为了迅速提高玉米产量,我省进行了玉米品种间杂交种的选育工作。到目前为止,已选出适合旱地、水田栽培的生育期长短不同的大量杂交组合。就中以浙江农业科学院以及建德县良种繁育场在这方面的工作做的较多。根据几年来对这些杂交种的试验及示范推广结果来看,增产幅度都很大,在同样的栽培条件下,一般可较当地品种增产20%以上。如1959年在东阳巍山公社巍山镇第三队种植的浙杂1
After the liberation, in order to rapidly increase the yield of maize, our province has conducted the breeding of hybrids between maize varieties.
