我国有3000万卡车司机常年在外奔波,承载着中国物流总量75%以上的运输,数量居全球之首。据最新统计数据显示,2015年安徽省发生一般程序处理的道路交通事故13736起,造成2594人死亡,15343人受伤。其中,货运车辆肇事导致道路交通事故起数占总数的14.5%,死亡人数占总数的26.9%。这不仅给运输企业带来极大的经济损失,而且给驾驶员的生命安全造成极大威胁。从这些交通事故分析可知,部分卡车司机交通安全意识淡薄,对交通法律法规不熟悉已成为引发事故的主要原因之一。
