我县张公桥良种场近两年试验成功并推广了二季晚稻撒播增产技术措施,为迟栽二季晚稻大面积平衡高产闯出了一条新途径。一九七七年,张公桥良种场搞了5亩田撒播试验,平均亩产达到602斤,比迟栽晚稻一般增产100—150斤,一九七八年,全场搞撒播面识59亩,占二季晚稻总面积15％,平均亩产达673斤,其中,场科研组有一丘撒播试验田面积2.4亩,品种是原丰早原,七月二十八日播种,实收干谷1944斤,折合亩产干谷810斤。
