我县复兴公社近年来利用“露天泥芋堆”贮存甘薯,越冬保种,方法简单效果好,具有防渍、防冻、防烂种和省工、省料、省费用的优点。1977年,全公社74个生产队,有73个生产队应用此法贮藏甘薯种16万斤,除一个生产队因操作管理不善发生局部烧堆外,全部安全越冬。去年,仅城区就有330个生产队,推广了“露天泥芋堆”,贮藏甘薯种84万斤。“露天泥芋堆”做法如下:
In recent years, the county Fuxing commune uses the open-air taro pile to store sweet potato and protect the winter species. The simple and effective method has the advantages of anti-stain, antifreeze, anti-rot and labor saving, material saving and cost saving. In 1977, 74 production teams of the entire communes and 73 production teams used this method to store 160,000 jin of sweet potato species. All except for one production team, local overheating occurred because of poor operation and management.
