Spending a lot of money on oilfield exploration and drilling new wells is only practicable if there is a significant increase in crude oil production compared to one production. The systematic exploitation of oil requires the maintenance of the reservoir’s viability as long as possible; in this respect, chemical processes and phenomena play a crucial role.
