Valence dipolarization is an important factor and one of the basic rules governing theformation of the earth’s crust, the evolution of uhrabasic-basie→intermediate-acidic→ultraaci-dic rock series, magmatic differentiation of igneous intrusions and the distribution and con-centration of rare and radioactive elements in igneous rocks, and orthomagmatic metallogene-sis.Ichor,transmagmatic fluids or ascending thermal fluids from the upper mantle, producedby dehydration, degassing, dealkalization, desilication and the loss of heat are all exclusive va-lence dipolarizing agents within the earth.Ca-and Mg-skams are products of anti-valence di-polarization.Alkaline metasomatism is regarded as valence dipolarization in the hydrothermalstage.
