贵州省凯里-黄平地区铝土矿床是产于碳酸盐岩侵蚀面上的一水硬铝石型沉积矿床,经过近几年的勘查工作,初步探明一处大型铝土矿床,多处中小型矿床。本文在详细阐述矿床地质特征的基础上,总结其成矿规律,认为其成矿时代为中二叠世梁山期;空间分布主要受古喀斯特与后期构造作用的综合影响;共生矿产为菱铁矿与煤矿,具有西部铁矿多,东部煤矿多的特点,且铁矿层和铝土矿层厚度有一定的消长关系。
