审美教育是小学教育的基本组成部分。小学阶段要学习的古诗数量虽然不很多,但所纳入教材的古诗基本可以反映出中国古代诗歌的发展过程及其取得的成就,其中很多可以用来进行审美教育。随着历史的发展,我国的古代诗歌也日渐完美,它的美蕴含在字里行间,是一种包容了语言美、音乐美、画面美、情感美和意境美等多种美的艺术,在小学语文古诗教学时,应该充分利用学科优势,有效地加强审美教育。教科版小学语文教材古诗教学的重要目标就是通过诵读古诗,引导学生品味其语句,进一步提高他们的审美素质。
