陆大京是我国著名的植物病理学家、真菌学家。早年他积极开展油桐枯萎病和烟草青枯病的防治研究，后期主要开展橡胶根腐病、油棕果腐病等热带作物病害的防治研究。
Lu Dajing is a famous plant pathologist and mycologist in our country. Early years, he actively carried out research on the prevention and treatment of Fusarium wilt and tobacco bacterial wilt. The latter part mainly conducted research on the prevention and treatment of tropical crop diseases such as rubber root rot and oil palm rot disease.
