针对城镇化进程的不断加速与消防管理工作传统模式不相适应的突出矛盾,结合广东省城镇消防管理工作实际,从城镇公共消防事业发展、基层政统一管理职能、消防监督管理力量及群众消防安全意识等方面分析当前城镇消防安全管理工作的现状和存在问题,在思想观念、建设方法、工作机制、宣传模式四个方面提出加强和创新城镇消防安全管理工作的对策。
