劳伦斯的长短篇小说始终围绕着对现代理性工业文明的否定和对自然本能的复归和向往,但小说中对工业场景的描述只是艺术的重构。值得关注的是劳氏视角是否歪曲了历史呈现,使读者读到的是艺术上连贯而事实上并非精确的工业场景。
Lawrence’s short novels always revolve around the negation of the modern rational industrial civilization and the return to natural instinct and longing for the description of the industrial scene in the novel is only an artistic reconstruction. What deserves attention is whether Lloyd’s perspective distorts the historical presentation so that the reader reads an art-bound, in fact, not exactly industrial scene.
