这辑的六篇小说,除了《肘茎状骨突的故事》之外,全都选自法国的“想象工场”选编的“普罗米修斯文学奖”历年获奖作者的集子《想象工场》(L’Atelier imaginaire,岩石出版社,1998)。“想象工场”是法国的一个小型文学团体,其宗旨是促进文学和艺术创作,尤其是短篇小说和诗歌的创作,“保卫和发扬法兰西语言”。每年十月依据作品的手稿评定两个文学奖,其一是普罗米修斯文学奖,专门奖给一个新的短篇小说作家;其二是富歇文学奖,专门奖给一个不太有名或还未成名的诗人。围绕着这两项奖,“想象工场”同时还举行其他各种文学活动。目前在法国,短篇小说的发表园地远远不如长篇小说多,专门发表短篇小说的杂志也只有极少几家。而像“想象工场”这样的文学团体,通过历年获奖的短篇小说作家的作品汇成集子出版,无疑是对短篇小说的复兴和繁荣的一种推动。从这些获奖作家的情况来看,他们大多属于“先锋”作家,作品注重对写作技巧、叙述形式的探索。
The six novels of this series are all selected from the “Prometheus Literature Award” and “Collection of Authors of the Past” published by the “Imagination Workshop” of France except for “The Story of the Elbow Prostate” Imagination Workshop “(L’Atelier imaginaire, Rock Press, 1998). ”Imagination Workshop“ is a small French literature group whose mission is to promote literary and artistic creation, especially the creation of short stories and poems, ”to defend and promote the French language.“ In October each year, two literary awards are assessed on the basis of the manuscript of the work, one of which is the Prometheus Prize for Literature, a special prize for a new short story writer; the second is the Fushul Literature Prize, a special award for a less famous or also Unnamed poet. Around these two awards, ”Imagine Workshop“ also held a variety of other literary activities. At present in France, the publication of short stories is far less than novels, and there are only a few magazines specializing in short stories. The literary groups such as ”Imagination Factory“, through the collection of works of short story writers winning over the years, are undoubtedly a promotion of the revival and prosperity of short stories. Judging from the situation of these award-winning writers, most of them belong to the ”pioneer" writers. Their works focus on the exploration of writing skills and narrative forms.
