卫生规划人员面临的两项重要任务是:发展确定环境条件与健康状况间联系的方法,以及把大量关于环境和健康的数据综合成一个或几个表示环境卫生状况的尺度。多元统计技术中的典型相关分析可提供一种确定成组变量之间的联系的方法,并能求得一个城市或地区的环境卫生状况的加权指标。本文叙及何谓典型相关以及如何用之完成上述任务。
Two important tasks faced by health planners are to develop methods for determining the link between environmental conditions and health conditions, and to integrate a large number of data on the environment and health into one or more scales that indicate the state of sanitation. A typical correlation analysis in multivariate statistical techniques can provide a way to determine the linkages between groups of variables and can obtain a weighted index of the environmental health status of a city or region. This article describes what is typical and how to use it to complete the above tasks.
