根据武汉钢铁(集团)公司科技周活动的统一安排,从5月19日到5月25日,学院科协以“科技以人为本,全面建设小康”为主题,结合学院科研、科协、科普工作的实际,举办了一系列富有学校特色的活动,取得了良好的效果。5月19日,学院科协组织二十七名科技人员到武钢工人剧院参加武汉钢铁(集团)公司科技周开幕式,聆听了中国金属学会副理事长、中国钢铁协会副理事长李世俊所作的主题为:“钢铁工业供需关系的新变化和钢铁企业的新对策”的学术报告。与会代表认为这次学术报告的信息量大、数据全、资料新,参加这次会议收获很大。报告中的很多内容被教师及时地收录在正在编写的干部培训教材中。为营造好科技周的氛围,学院制作了一期“武汉工程职业技术学院科研工作一瞥”的展板。展板的内容反映了学院2005年的科技进步计划、近期开展的一系列学术活动以及学院在科学发展观指导下取得的一些科研成果,让职工对学院的科研、科普工作有一个全面的了解。这期展板参加了公司科技周科技展板的展览。同时,学院科协秘书处还在校园网上开设了“科普小知识”专栏,给职工简单的介绍一些存在于大自然中的科学和日常生活中的科学。此外,学院还制作了科技周主题字 According to the unified arrangement of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Company’s Science and Technology Week activity, from May 19 to May 25, the CASTT organized “Scientific and Technological People-oriented and Build a Well-off Society in an All-round Way” with the theme of combining scientific research, CAST and science popularization In fact, a series of school-specific activities were held and achieved good results.
