日本直肠肛门学会由民间医疗专家创立于1940年,以期确立专门分科及促进学术进步。1960年改名为日本大肠肛门病学会。当初会员数为500名,至70年代会员增加,现已超过5000名。学术总会每年举行一次,定期发行学会机关杂志。初期的总会规模比较小,1970年以后逐年增加演讲数,参加者不断增加。1995年举行了第50届总会。学会杂志近年发行号数及篇幅均有增加,现每年发行10期。另有2个地方学会并和很多的国内学会、研究会有联系,亦举行或协办国际学会,开展国际交流。今后随着医学的进步及社会的变化,本学会的任务将更为重要。
The Japanese Rectal Anal Society was founded in 1940 by a private medical expert to establish a specialized division and promote academic progress. In 1960, it was renamed the Japanese Society of Large Intestine and Anal Disease. The number of members at the beginning was 500, and membership increased in the 1970s. It now has more than 5,000 members. The Academic Conference is held once a year and is regularly issued by the Institutional Institute Magazine. The size of the initial general meeting was relatively small. After 1970, the number of lectures was increased year by year. Participants continued to increase. The 50th General Conference was held in 1995. In recent years, the magazine has increased its number and space. It is now issued 10 times a year. In addition, there are two other places where they learn to connect with many domestic institutions and research institutes. They also hold or co-organize international societies and conduct international exchanges. In the future, with the advancement of medicine and changes in society, the mission of the Society will become even more important.
