铁路应在我国综合交通网中发挥基础性和支柱性作用,为实现国土均衡开发、完成工业化和城市化进程提供有力支撑。在供需两方面作用下,铁路运输在我国客货运输系统中的骨干作用将进一步得到强化。在我国转变经济发展方式,发展低碳经济的大背景下,铁路以其能源利用效率高、环境影响小的突出优势,在我国交通可持续发展中发挥着引领作用。
The railway should play a fundamental and pillar role in China’s comprehensive transport network, providing strong support for the balanced development of land and the completion of industrialization and urbanization. Under the function of supply and demand, the key role of railway transportation in China’s passenger and cargo transport system will be further strengthened. Under the background of changing the mode of economic development and developing a low-carbon economy in our country, the railway plays a leading role in the sustainable development of transport in our country with its prominent advantages of high energy efficiency and small environmental impact.
