文物修复是一门严谨的学科,随着科学修复技术的快速发展,社会审美观念的变化,选择更好的修复材料(具有可逆性)和方法,是今后文物修复的重要手段,通过这次的修复工作实践,结果表明,不仅复原了红铜大桶的外观形貌特征,而且恢复了原始的红铜色彩及特征,摸索出一套全新的红铜器修复技术和工艺流程。同时对修复理念和多学科交叉应用有了新的领会和提高,也是未来文物修复的研究方向。
