美国贝尔·斯弟恩斯公司是全球著名的投资银行、证券买卖及经纪公司。去年9月美国《华尔街报》评出的世界25大投资银行中,贝尔公司排行第15名。前不久,贝尔公司继去年在上海设立办事处之后,又在北京开设了办事处,从而使它成为唯一在中国有两家办事处的美国金融企业。公司总裁兼首席执行官詹姆斯·克恩博士在主持北京办事处揭幕仪式上告诉记者,目前该公司的金融投资活动重点放在亚洲,而在中国业务活动又是亚洲的重点,中国是贝尔公司国际业务活动中的重中之重。
