The “Macro World History”, edited by Professor Li Zhi-hong, was published by Wuhan University Press in November 1999. This book is written by the Ministry of Education for non-historical students of institutions of higher education for 21st century course materials. After reading the book carefully, I deeply feel that “the history of the macro world” is a new achievement made by our country’s scholars in exploring the process of the globalization of the world’s history and the quality education for a large number of young students
