我很久就想往用台湾省生长的相思木,刻一件木雕。我就不信除台湾省外,沈阳就没有相思树。去年春,我寻遍了沈阳园林,真是工夫不负有心人,就在南湖公园里,我终于发现了一块我相思了很久的“相思木”。这块木头巧生两组很有形象的榆木包,宛若两束象形的牡丹花,其中两朵已开绽,三朵正含苞,其余全是蓓蕾,两束花中间并排挤着一对较大的园形突起,一看就象两个少年头。左边一个从表皮颜色和生长纹路看,是披肩发,很潇洒 I have long wanted to carve a piece of wood carving on Acacia grown in Taiwan.
