中国拥有的栽培蔬菜作物(含食用菌和西瓜、甜瓜),按照植物学分类法,至少有298种(包括亚种、变种),分属于50个科。然而面对众多形态各异的蔬菜作物,社会公众对其大部分种类的认知却很有限,甚至一些专业研究人员在鉴别蔬菜作物时,有时也会感到困惑。因此,编辑出版一本能够直观地表达各种蔬菜作物的形态特征及生态多样性的彩色图册,成为广大读者的迫切企望。鉴于此,由中国农业科学院蔬菜花卉研究所方智远院士和台湾中兴大学园艺学系张武男教授担任主任委员,联合编著了《中国蔬菜作物图鉴》,于2012年由凤凰出版集团江苏科学技术出版社出版。
There are at least 298 cultivated vegetable crops (including edible mushrooms and watermelons, melons) owned by China and at least 298 species (including subspecies and varieties) according to the taxonomic study on botany, belonging to 50 families. However, in the face of many different types of vegetable crops, the public has a limited understanding of most of its species. Even some professional researchers sometimes find it confusing when identifying vegetable crops. Therefore, editing and publishing a color book that can intuitively express the morphological characteristics and ecological diversity of various vegetable crops has become the urgent hope of readers. In view of this, by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Professor Fang Zhiyuan and Taiwan Chung Hsing University Department of Horticulture Professor Zhang Wunan served as the chairman, jointly edited the “Chinese vegetable crop pictorial” in 2012 by the Phoenix Publishing Group Jiangsu Science and Technology Press .
