From April 19 to April 22, 2001, the Ninth National Party Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam was held in the capital, Hanoi. In the spirit of “wisdom, democracy, solidarity and innovation”, the Vietnamese Communist Party has summed up the experience and lessons learned from Vietnam’s reform over the past 15 years, portrays Vietnam’s blueprint for its development in the new century and has made useful contributions to building a socialist road that has Vietnamese characteristics explore.
