冯友兰(1895—1990),字芝生,中国现代著名哲学家。他学精业博,思想深邃,融贯中西,通释今古,有《贞元六书》、《三松堂全集》、《中国哲学史新编》等巨著传世,以此被誉为学习中国文化“可超而不可越”的人物。他的道德学问,业经嘉惠士林;他的诗赋文章,亦当驰誉文坛。《西南联大纪念碑文》文辞简约,意蕴遥深,是作者道德文章的典范代表。 兹将全文钞录于后。
