解放前的上海四马路(今福州路),曾是个男嫖女娼麇集的“红灯区”。1928年底,刚刚从武汉跳出白色恐怖的女共产党员张文秋,一进上海,又误入了同样危险的“粉色陷井”。 毛泽东的亲家张文秋,是20年代参加革命的老同志,原在中共湖北省委从事秘密工作。由于党的地下机关被敌人破获,30多位同志先后被捕,又一下被杀害了24名。她只身逃出武汉,乘轮船来到上海,寻找党中央报告情况并请示工作。
