From time to time after the Gulf War ended in 1991, Iraq became the focus of world media attention. Right now, there is another cloud over the Gulf. The United States and Britain continue to send troops to the region for dispatching troops. There are quite a few “not to overthrow the Saddam regime’s vow to rest”. As a reporter and reporter who used to be a resident Xinhua News Agency in Iraq, as the eyewitness and reporter of the large-scale air strikes by the United States and Britain against the code-named “Desert Fox” by the United States and Britain at the end of 1998, I recently and involuntarily recall some situations of work and life at that time. By putting these pieces into pieces, I believe readers and press colleagues will have a general idea of the work and life of journalists abroad, especially their work and life under war conditions.
