2009年在考古学领域包括日中合作的调查也取得了成果。在中国考古发掘资料的公布还不充分的情况下,为了获得基础数据,和中国的研究机构合作,对遗址进行发掘、调查,对器物进行实测,其意义重大。此外,2008年至今关于中原和周边地区青铜器文化的研究仍很兴盛,不仅仅是中国,相邻国家和地区也纳入到视野中。《中国考古学》第9号收录了“中国科技考古的现在”研讨会的系列论文,其中很多篇引入了自然科学的方法,开展跨学科研究。下面分时段加以介绍。
