She published only an anonymous ancestral poems in her lifetime, and about 1,800 existing poems were released after her death. In 1890, her first poetry anthology came out, in 1955, Harvard University Press for her the Complete Works. It is no exaggeration to say that Emily Dickinson has become the largest female poet in the United States. But the poem is short poetry, and in her poems there are very few poems of more than fifteen lines.
