用氢溴酸东莨菪碱和无水酒精封闭治疗原发性三叉神经痛各５０ 例。东莨菪碱的治愈率和总有效率分别为８２％ 和９２％ ，无水酒精的治愈率和总有效率分别为５８％ 和７６％ 。作者认为氢溴酸东莨菪碱治疗原发性三叉神经痛明显优于无水酒精，为三叉神经痛的治疗提供了一种新的治疗方法，并且对东莨菪碱的作用机制进行了探讨。
Fifty cases of primary trigeminal neuralgia were treated with scopolamine hydrobromide and anhydrous alcohol. The cure rate and total effective rate of scopolamine were 82% and 92% respectively, and the cure rate and total effective rate of anhydrous ethanol were 58% and 76% respectively. The authors believe that scopolamine hydrobromide treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia was significantly better than anhydrous alcohol, providing a new treatment for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, and scopolamine mechanism of action were discussed.
