新时期工商联的主要任务是做非公有制经济代表人士的思想政治工作。我们认为要完成党中央赋予的历史使命,真正成为党和政府联系非公有制经济的一个桥梁,目前的当务之急是在吃透中央指示精神的基础上,积极地、慎重地物色一批非公有制经济代表人士,为工商联实现职能转变、打开工作局面奠定基础。
The main task of the federation in the new period is to do ideological and political work on behalf of non-public sectors of the economy. We think that to accomplish the historic mission entrusted by the party Central Committee and truly become a bridge between the party and the government in linking up with the non-public sector of the economy, the top priority now is to actively and carefully identify a group of non-public sector economic representatives based on the spirit of the directives of the Central Government , Which laid the foundation for the Federation of Trade Unions to realize the transformation of its functions and open the work situation.
