不丹于2002年1月1日发行马年生肖邮票,全套2枚连印,面值均为20努尔特鲁姆,图案为在山路中行走的佩鞍宝马,色彩具有装饰性。同时发行小型张1枚,面值为25努尔特鲁姆,图案为脚踩祥云身背法轮,在蓝天中飞奔的宝马,其风格有明显的佛教色彩。圭亚那于2002年1月发行马年生肖小型张和小版张各1枚。小型张内含2枚邮票,面值均为150元,邮票图案为中国杨柳青民间年画——跨马门神及中文“马年”字样,边饰采用中国传统楹联的形式,上联为:
