在深入分析断层封闭性形成机制的基础上,指出断裂填充物中泥质含量是影响断层封闭性的重要因素。通过断裂填充物中泥质含量的影响因素分析,利用断层断移地层的泥岩厚度与断距大小建立了预测断裂填充物中泥质含量的方法,并根据泥质含量与排替压力之间的对应关系,提出了利用断裂填充物中泥质含量评价断层封闭性的方法,将其应用于塔里木盆地巴楚断隆几条主要断层封闭性研究,其结果与该区的实际地质条件十分吻合,证明该方法用于断层封闭性评价是可能的。
