1995年8月24日,中共上海市委、上海市人民政府郑重宣布:撤销上海市广播电视局,撤销上海市电影局,组建上海市广播电影电视局。这项体制改革的重大举措,揭开了上海影视合流、共创辉煌的新篇章。两个月后举办的第2届上海国际电影节,有来自亚、非、欧、美46个国家和地区的电影艺术家、制片商参加,携232部中外电影来沪参展参赛。其中1995年出品的新片占了45％,不少影片是“热炒”,使上海影迷有幸成为其第一批观众。沪上各家电视台和报刊、广播一起,围绕本届电影节展开了全方位、立体式的宣传攻势。电影节开、闭幕当晚,广大观众通过荧屏不但看到了开、闭幕式的盛况,目睹了中外著名电影艺术家和“金爵杯”得主的风采,而且收看了《九香》、《海豹安瑞儿》这两部好片,很过瘾。电
On August 24, 1995, CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government solemnly announced: the revocation of Shanghai Radio and Television Bureau, the revocation of Shanghai Film Bureau and the establishment of Shanghai Radio Film and Television Bureau. The major move of this system reform unveiled a new chapter of Shanghai film and TV merging together to create brilliant. Two months later, the 2nd Shanghai International Film Festival was held.
