In this paper, the morphology of sulfide inclusions after calcium treatment of hot-rolled steel wheels with steel grade X was studied. The samples were extracted from hot-rolled steel products with X steel grade. The size and distribution of the elongated sulfide inclusions in the furnaces with different sparse contents were examined. When the content of sulfur in the steel was less than 50 × 10 -6, little or no sulfide inclusions were observed Things. When the sulfur content is higher than or equal to 70 × 10 -6, and the Ca / s ratio is less than 0.5, the size and amount of sulfide inclusions in the steel significantly increase. Then the effect of adding titanium (0.01% ~ 0.02%) on the morphology of sulfide inclusions was investigated in the furnace with the sulfur content higher than 50 × 10 -6. The study found that adding titanium in the actual steelmaking conditions had some effects on reducing the size of sulfide inclusions.
