六十年代前,热田勘探方法还处于探索时期,一般都是以基础地质工作为主,配合少量地球物理勘探(以电法为主)然后进行钻探。那时的钻探常常带有相当大的冒险性,钻探的命中率不高。六十年代以来,随着地质科学各分支学科的发展和新技术的引进,地热田勘探方法有了很大的进步,进入了多种方法综合应用的阶段。其最大的特点就在于把地质、地球化学和地球物理勘探方法紧密地结合起来。
Before the 1960s, thermal exploration methods were still in the exploratory period, and most of them were based on basic geological work, with a small amount of geophysical exploration (mainly electric method) and then drilling. Drilling was often quite risky at that time, drilling hit rates were not high. Since the 1960s, with the development of all branches of geosciences and the introduction of new technologies, geothermal field exploration methods have made great strides and entered the stage of comprehensive application of various methods. Its greatest feature lies in the geology, geochemistry and geophysical exploration methods closely together.
